Summary

A significant finding from the study is that both perceived behavioral control and adaptive experiences are crucial factors influencing visitors' intentions to revisit Komodo National Park, a critical forest ecosystem. The research used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze how COVID-19-induced changes affected visitor behavior and park management strategies. Key insights include the strong relationship between visitor attitudes and adaptive experiences, as well as social norms and adaptive experiences, while perceived behavioral control did not significantly impact social norms or adaptive experiences. These results highlight the need for adaptive management strategies that prioritize safety, engagement, and education to foster sustainable tourism and conservation in the park's forested areas.
