Orta Asya Tarih ve Kültürünün Akışında Ahmed Yesevi'nin Mimari Kompleksi

Archaeological and architectural research reveals that the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Kazakhstan, was part of a larger complex dating back to the 12th–14th centuries. Fragments of carved terracotta suggest the existence of tombstones around the early mausoleum, while analysis of its interdome space indicates the presence of a memorial mosque during the Karakhanid period. The study integrates historical descriptions, archival materials from 'Kazrestavratsia,' and photographic records from the late 19th–early 20th centuries to reconstruct lost architectural elements. It also traces the mausoleum's evolution through phases of decline, repair, and restoration, including its condition under Russian rule, Soviet-era interventions, and post-independence restorations.
