Role of Artificial Intelligence in Ajanta Caves & Hampi

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is emerging as a transformative tool for the preservation and digital documentation of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as Ajanta Caves and Hampi. This study highlights AI's potential to mitigate environmental and human-induced degradation by enabling rapid tracking of cultural heritage lifespans and guiding conservation efforts. By leveraging digital tools, AI facilitates the creation of accessible repositories that allow future generations to experience and understand these sites. The research emphasizes the urgent need for technological interventions in cultural heritage protection, addressing contemporary challenges through innovative approaches.
