Summary
Over the past four decades, Jingdezhen's ceramics industry has evolved from a single-center model to a multi-center structure with six hotspots, following a pattern of agglomeration-diffusion-polarization. This transformation is driven by positive interactions among agglomeration, historical, technological, policy, and transportation factors, with agglomeration being the most significant contributor. The study, employing kernel density estimation, exploratory spatial data analysis, and Geodetector, reveals two distinct temporal stages marked by exponential growth with fluctuations in enterprise numbers. These findings provide critical insights for urban revitalization policies and the development of Jingdezhen as a national ceramic culture inheritance and innovation pilot zone.
