Summary
The Sítio Roberto Burle Marx (SRBM) serves as a pivotal site for understanding modernist tropical landscape practices, with its botanical-landscape heritage shaped by collaborative knowledge exchange and hands-on activities. This study proposes a systematic approach to inventory these practices through the lived experiences of social agents involved in SRBM's history, integrating historical trajectory, documentation processes, and oral memories. By translating natural elements into aesthetic compositions, SRBM emerges as a key node in Brazilian modernist landscaping, reflecting ongoing cultural-natural dynamics. The research introduces a theoretical framework for documenting such practices, drawing from firsthand accounts of past and present participants.
