Summary
Research demonstrates that incorporating metallurgical slag as a filler and superplasticizer GLENIUM 27S into gypsum binders can significantly enhance the strength of gypsum stone while reducing water demand by 5% without altering setting time. Notably, using slag with a specific surface area of 500 m²/kg increases Samarkand gypsum stone strength by 11%, whereas Bukhara gypsum achieves similar results with less energy-intensive grinding (150 m²/kg). The study also identifies the third method of binder production as the most efficient, boosting strength and density by 13.4% and 10.3%, respectively, by eliminating preliminary component grinding. These findings provide a technological foundation for optimizing gypsum binder production, with implications for preserving cultural heritage materials like those in Samarkand and Bukhara.
