Summary

Research on the Classical Gardens of Suzhou (CGS) reveals that heritage corridors exhibit a radial cluster pattern with center-high/edge-low grading, concentrated in the historic urban core. This study introduces a 'One Corridor-Three Zones-Four Nodes' framework, integrating hierarchical and categorical systems to reinforce city-garden integration within Suzhou's urban fabric. The approach utilizes ArcGIS Pro spatial analysis and the minimum cumulative resistance model to construct these corridors, offering a replicable conservation-tourism framework. The findings highlight significant spatial and functional variations among corridor types, providing insights into culturally-driven selection approaches for heritage corridor construction.
