A study on Angkor World Heritage Site, Cambodia, reveals that symbolic and experiential consumptions of heritage tourism destinations significantly enhance tourists' attachment to the site, their satisfaction, and ultimately their loyalty. These effects surpass those of functional consumption, highlighting the importance of emotional and experiential engagement in fostering long-term tourist commitment. The research, based on a sample of 512 international tourists, also underscores the pivotal role of destination attachment in mediating the relationship between quality, satisfaction, and loyalty.
