Endeavours of the Malbork Castle Museumwith Respect to Malbork Castle’s War Losses

The Malbork Castle Museum's participation in the Investigating Polish War Losses Programme, codenamed '#ProjektStraty', has significantly advanced the documentation and accessibility of war losses and dispersed collections related to the Castle of the Teutonic Order. By systematically identifying, studying, and providing diverse forms of access to sources, the museum has made substantial progress in provenance research. This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage since 2018, highlights the importance of collaborative efforts in preserving historical artifacts and understanding their trajectories during periods of conflict.
