Gaudí Gehry Barcelona

This study reveals a subversive critique of architectural and spatial conditions embedded in the late works of Antoni Gaudí and Frank Gehry, challenging their roles as mere tourist icons. It establishes a link between Gaudí’s Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Família and Gehry’s late works, particularly his Fish sculpture in Barcelona, by interpreting their organic forms through Heideggerian philosophy. The research argues that both architects deconstruct traditional architectural practices to critique ontological closure, urging a radical reimagining of space and time beyond historical norms.
